SynopsisIn a prison camp, isolated from the world, a French teacher is sought among the captives. Guzmanov Danilo, who is serving a long sentence as a lumberjack in the harsh wilderness, sees his chance to escape. With chutzpah he gets the job and for the first time he leaves the camp alone and with no guards to teach children at the near school - but without speaking a word of French.
